On August 7 and 8, 2024, the Office of the Commissioner of Indigenous Languages (the Commission) hosted a language gathering in Treaty Six territory and within Métis homelands (Edmonton) as a part of its continuing dialogue with First Nations and Métis peoples on their language revitalization efforts.
